The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has released the DMRC Executive and Non Executive Recruitment 2026 notification for 73 vacancies under Advertisement No. DMRC/PERS/22/HR/2026 (235). The advertisement, dated 14 October 2026, covers Supervisor, Engineer and Senior Engineer positions in the Architecture, Civil/Track, Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) and Environment departments.

Applications are being accepted offline through Speed Post or email, and they must reach DMRC on or before 4 November 2026. Full details are available on the official website, delhimetrorail.com.

There is no written test. Selection rests on pay-scale eligibility, departmental experience and a personal interview. The sections below explain vacancies, eligibility, age limit, salary and the complete application procedure in simple language.

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be serving or retired employees of a government organisation, Indian Railways, a PSU or a metro organisation. Eligibility is judged as on 1 October 2026. Instead of fixing a single degree or diploma for each post, DMRC checks the substantive pay scale a candidate holds (CDA or IDA) together with the relevant experience in the concerned department. Educational details still have to be filled in the application form.

Post / LevelRequired Pay ScaleExperience Required
Supervisor-ICDA Level 6 ₹35,400–1,12,400 or IDA ₹37,000–1,15,000 (₹40,000–1,25,000 for some Civil/Track cases)5 years at supervisory level in the concerned department

In the Architecture department, the supervisor requirement is listed at the Supervisor-I level. Experience must come from the same discipline you are applying for, so an S&T professional cannot apply against a Civil/Track post.

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit

Engagement ModeAge Limit (as on 1 October 2026)
DeputationMaximum 55 years
Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE)55 to 62 years

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee

The notification does not mention any application fee. Candidates are therefore not required to make a payment while submitting the form. If anyone asks for money in the name of DMRC recruitment, treat it as a red flag and report it.

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

The selection method depends on how you are applying:

  • Deputation: Personal Interview.
  • PRCE: Personal Interview followed by a Medical Fitness Examination.

In practice, the journey has these stages:

  1. Scrutiny of applications received by the closing date.
  2. Verification of pay scale, grade and departmental experience.
  3. Preparation of a shortlist, which will be published on the DMRC website.
  4. Screening interview in offline or online mode.
  5. Medical examination for PRCE candidates (Executive / Technical category for executive posts; A-1 and not below A-3 for supervisor posts, with A-3 for Supervisor-I Architecture).
  6. Final selection and engagement.

A candidate who does not meet the prescribed medical standard will not be offered alternative employment.

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Salary / Pay Scale

Pay depends on the mode of engagement. Deputationists continue to draw their parent-department pay and receive a deputation allowance as per the applicable rules. PRCE appointees receive a fixed consolidated monthly amount that is linked to the grade from which they retired, and outstation postings carry a higher figure than Delhi office postings.

Post / Level (PRCE)Delhi Office (per month)Outstation (per month)
Senior Engineer₹96,600₹1,06,300
Engineer₹75,200₹82,700
Supervisor-III₹72,600₹79,900

Supervisor-I₹56,300₹61,900

DMRC Recruitment 2026 – Exam Pattern

There is no written examination in this recruitment, so there is no exam pattern or syllabus to prepare. The interview panel is expected to judge technical knowledge, practical skills, comprehension, aptitude and overall suitability for the post. Candidates should revise their project experience, the standards and procedures of their discipline, and be ready to talk about metro-specific work such as track maintenance, signalling systems, station architecture or environmental compliance.

Job Location, Tenure and Service Conditions

  • Present work sites: Jaipur and Delhi NCR. Selected candidates may be posted or transferred to any DMRC project or office in India or abroad.
  • Deputation tenure: normally five years, extendable up to seven years in special cases or until superannuation, whichever is earlier.

Tips for Candidates

  • Match your substantive pay scale and departmental experience with the table before you apply; a mismatch is the quickest route to rejection.
  • Serving employees should obtain NOC and vigilance clearance early, since these usually take the longest.
  • Post the application a few days ahead of 4 November, because the deadline refers to the date of receipt, not the date of dispatch.
  • Retired candidates should keep the PPO and the final pay certificate ready to prove the grade of retirement.
  • Rely only on the official PDF for final decisions, as aggregator sites may carry typing errors.
