How to Apply
Candidates must submit their application through the official website www.rrc-wr.com in online mode only. Detailed guidelines and step-by-step instructions for completing the online application form will be provided on the website.
(a) Applicants must carefully enter all required details in the online application form, including personal information, trade preference, Aadhaar number, marks/CGPA, and choice of Division/Workshop. The computerised merit list will be prepared strictly on the basis of the information submitted by the candidate. If any mismatch or incorrect information is detected during document verification, the candidature will be cancelled immediately.
(b) Although separate vacancies have been notified for Stenographer (English) and PAASA under Mumbai Central Division and Headquarters (HQ) Office, candidates applying for Mumbai Division and HQ Office will be considered through a single common application. There is no need to submit separate applications for Mumbai Division and Headquarters Office.
- Applicants must possess a valid Aadhaar Card. During the registration process, candidates are required to enter their 12-digit Aadhaar number. Those who have enrolled for Aadhaar but have not yet received their card may enter the 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID, as mentioned on the Aadhaar Enrolment Slip.
- This provision is applicable to applicants from all States and Union Territories. At the time of Document Verification, applicants are required to produce their original Aadhaar Card.
- Applicants must ensure that their name, father’s name, and date of birth are exactly the same as recorded in their Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any mismatch or discrepancy detected during Document Verification may lead to cancellation of candidature and possible debarment from the recruitment process.
- Applicants are advised to provide an active mobile number and valid email ID while submitting the online application and ensure that both remain functional throughout the entire recruitment process.
- All important updates and notices will be published on the official website. Additionally, email and SMS communications will be sent only to shortlisted candidates. Any communication sent to the registered email ID or mobile number will be treated as officially delivered and deemed to have been read by the applicant.
- Applicants are allowed to select only one Division/Workshop while submitting the online application. Once selected, this option will be treated as final and binding, and no changes will be permitted later.
- Candidates are strongly advised to carefully check the trade-wise vacancy details (Annexure A) before applying. They should ensure that vacancies are available in their chosen Division/Workshop as per their trade, educational qualification, community, and category before submitting the application form.
- Applicants possessing ITI qualifications in more than one trade may apply separately for each relevant trade.
- Applicants are strictly advised to submit only one application for a particular trade. Any candidate found submitting multiple applications using different details such as name, father’s name, community, PwBD status, educational/technical qualifications, or different email IDs and mobile numbers will have all applications rejected immediately without further notice.
- Applicants must download and keep a printed copy of the submitted online application form. This printout should be preserved carefully and produced before the Railway Administration whenever required during the recruitment process.
- Applicants must report for Document/Certificate Verification at the allotted Division/Workshop/Unit with their original documents. They are also required to carry the Medical Fitness Certificate (Annexure-G) at the time of verification, as prescribed by the Railway Administration.
- Applicants seeking reservation under the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category must upload a valid EWS Certificate in accordance with the guidelines mentioned in Para 2.7 of the official notification. Failure to submit the required certificate may result in rejection of the EWS claim.
