Important: Out of the total vacancies at participating AIIMS, 80% seats are allocated for females and 20% for males. For complete institute-wise and category-wise seat distribution, refer to Annexure-V in the official notification.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification I: Applicants should have completed B.Sc. Nursing (Hons.) / B.Sc. Nursing recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council,
or Post-Basic / Post-Certificate B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution.
Registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council is mandatory.
- Essential Qualification II: Candidates holding a GNM Diploma from a recognised INC/State Nursing Council institute are eligible. They must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife and have two years of work experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completing the qualification.

Experience Requirement: The required two years of work experience should be gained only after finishing the course, declaration of results, and registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
