Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)

  • Stage I is a computer-based test consisting of 100 objective-type (multiple-choice) questions, each carrying 1 mark.

  • Negative marking applies, where 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

  • In special circumstances where INET cannot be conducted, the Navy may shortlist candidates based on marks obtained in qualifying examinations (10th or 12th board exams).
  • The Stage I result (Pass/Fail) along with marks obtained will be available on the candidate’s online dashboard.
