The South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a Mini Ratna Company and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released the official notification for SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2026. A total of 1600 apprenticeship training vacancies are available for Graduate Apprentices and Technician Apprentices in various engineering and general streams under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The training will be conducted in Opencast/Underground Mines and SECL establishments.

Candidates must have a 4-year or 3-year degree (for Graduate Apprentices) or a 3-year diploma (for Technician Apprentices) in the relevant discipline through full-time regular mode. Additionally, applicants must be registered on the NATS 2.0 portal and should be 18 years or above as on 31 March 2026. Preference will be given to candidates from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh (Level-1 list), followed by candidates from other states (Level-2 list).

Selected candidates will undergo one-year apprenticeship training with a monthly stipend of ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 for Technician Apprentices. The stipend will be shared equally between SECL (50%) and the Government (50%) through DBT.
