As per the notification released by the Airports Authority of India, selected candidates for AAI Apprentices Recruitment 2026 may be posted for training at various airports and AAI establishments in the Northern Region.

AAI Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 released by the Airports Authority of India must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Nationality / Domicile:
Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of the following states/UTs are eligible to apply:
Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh–Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Educational Qualification – Graduate / Diploma:
Candidates must have a full-time (regular) four-year Engineering Degree or three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant disciplines from an institution recognised by AICTE, Government of India.
Educational Qualification – ITI Trade:
Candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) or Stenography trades from institutes recognised by the Government of India.
Year of Passing:
Only candidates who passed their Degree/Diploma in or after 2022 are eligible to apply.
Previous Apprenticeship:
Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship, terminated it midway, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in another organisation or in AAI at the same qualification level are not eligible.
Job Experience:
Candidates who have one year or more of job experience or apprenticeship training after obtaining the required qualification are not eligible.
Multiple Applications:

AAI Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 conducted by the Airports Authority of India will be carried out through the following stages:
1. Merit-Based Shortlisting:
Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree / Diploma / ITI).
2. Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification to confirm their eligibility, educational qualifications, age, and other required details.
3. Medical Examination:
Candidates who successfully complete document verification will have to undergo a medical examination as per AAI guidelines before final selection.
Final selection will be subject to successful verification of documents and medical fitness.
