Nationality

The candidate must be one of the following:

• A citizen of India, OR
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates belonging to the above categories (except Indian citizens) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification (as on 01 March 2026)

• Candidates must be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution.
• The university/institute should be recognized or approved by government authorities such as AICTE, UGC, or other relevant regulatory bodies.
