RRB Group D Recruitment Notification 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation/SSC/SSLC) from a recognized board, or
- Possess an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate from a recognized institute, or
- Hold any equivalent qualification, or
- Have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
Important Note:
- Applicants who are awaiting their final results are not eligible to apply.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering will not be considered as a substitute for ITI or completed Act Apprenticeship.

Important Medical Notes:
- Applicants must meet the required medical fitness standards as outlined in the Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM), Volume I, Chapter 5.
- Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery are not eligible for posts under A2 and A3 medical categories and must submit a declaration as specified in Annexure-VII.
- Separate medical guidelines apply to Ex-Servicemen, as per Para 534 of the IRMM.
- Candidates declared medically unfit will not be considered for any alternative appointment.

The topics covered in this section include the Number System, BODMAS rules, Decimals and Fractions, Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Highest Common Factor (HCF), Ratio and Proportion, Percentage calculations, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Fundamental concepts of Algebra and Geometry, Trigonometry, basic Statistical methods, Square Roots, problems related to Age, Calendar and Clock, and Pipes and Cisterns.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
This section includes topics such as Analogies, Alphabet and Number Series, Coding-Decoding techniques, Mathematical Operations, Blood Relations, Syllogism, Rearrangement of letters or words (Jumbling), Venn Diagrams, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Direction Sense, and Statement-based questions (such as Arguments and Assumptions).
